The website structure is immaculate, I was flabbergasted at how clean the blog section was, if only because it revealed to me that I barely scratched the surface of html. Deffo need to implement iframes in my site atp. Also the phone layout reminds me of the time a Tony Hawk game used a Nokia N90 to frame phone messages. Very awesome. Cool place!

Replied on: June 15, 2026 at 11:16:14 PM

thanks so much!! iframes are awesome. as soon as i figured out how they worked, i completely overhauled my site. it's such a useful tool when you don't wanna deal with having to duplicate a layout 500 times :hail: also, i actually took some inspo for my more recent site pages from a Tony Hawk game's website... what a funny coincidence lol also, you are the 100th GB comment! congrats and thank you!!!!

sick site! since you're really into FF, have you also played TWEWY before? That's my favorite SE series. That and Kingdom Hearts, that one's pretty fire, too.

Replied on: May 21, 2026 at 2:35:32 PM

hey there, thanks for visiting! i actually have played TWEWY - it's in my about page under favorite video games! i need to finish it, i'm on Joshua's chapter right now & the aesthetics/music/story are just so great. i haven't played KH yet (though everyone tells me i need to lol) but i probably will when kh4 comes out!

Another FF7 fan!! Yay!!! It's been one of my favorites ever since my dad introduced it to me back in 2018 or so. What's your opinion on the remakes? You probably put it in your blog but I haven't read that yet I wanted to sign the guestbook first lol

Replied on: May 10, 2026 at 3:18:06 PM

hi there, omg awesome to see ff7 fans in the wild as always!!! :D i personally really like retrilogy! i didn't get to play Remake until about two years ago (after i played Rebirth) but i loved to watch gameplay for years before i could play it myself. i'm really looking forward to Part 3 (which they should be announcing at Summer Game Fest, yayyy). despite that, story-wise i'll always prefer the OG because i played it first surprisingly i haven't put much ff7-related stuff in my blog, but i am working on my shrine now so i'll definitely touch on my opinion there in more detail, hehe

Mako, I think your website is awesome, man!! Im a 16 yo dude who likes the 2000s and 2010s a lot and seeing all that was amazing! U also seem like a nice person! :D I have a question: Since you said u like her, what is your fav Britney song? =P Mine: Outrageous 01:35: I'm sorry, but it's me again LOL. Just saw the 2000s shrine part and LOVED IT. Very girly i would say <3.

Replied on: April 21, 2026 at 2:49:19 AM

thanks so much, i appreciate the compliment. i'm glad i give off a good vibe :) my favorite song by Britney is either womanizer or get back (which should've totally been a single on blackout) i also consolidated your GB messages, so don't worry  thanks for reading my shrine!

thank you sm, i'm glad you had fun exploring my site!! :) i love to throw some curveballs in there - i think the 2000s shrine is my favorite one because you'd never think a Super Dark Website would have anything that girly-looking lol. alas these r my two sides thanks for reading my blog, glad we have the same opinion! yeah, the "'i hate social media' manifesto"zone is way 2 oversaturated. i kinda hated seeing them before, and writing that blog out made me REALLY hate them. LMAO
